Russia and Ukraine are famous for their novel writers and poets. The history of every city is filled with interesting places where writers lived or places mentioned in their works.
Odessa is a perfect example of this and here we just mention a few writers and poets that influenced the city: Pushkin, Akhmatova, Mayakovsky, Babel, Inber, Brodsky. All with their own history and stories.
Like in all Russian and Ukrainian literature, the Jewish influence is big and this is true especially for Odessa. We take you to many remarkable places and decide with you which writers you are most interested in. If so wished, a visit to the Odessa Literary Museum is of course possible. You will be amazed about the dominant role Odessa played and partly still plays in the world literature.
